Dr. Alkhani is the head of neurosurgery at King Abdulaziz Medical City, NGHA-Health Affairs, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since january 2000. Dr. Alkhani is American and Canadian board certified. He was trained in toronto canada. He started his practice at King Faisal Specialist Hospital from 2000 to 2018. He joined KAMC in June 2017. He was the program director from 2017 until 2020. He is interested in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and spinal intradural pathology.
Dr. Wael Alshaya is the director of the Neurosurgery Residency Program at King Abdulaziz Medical City, NGHA-Health Affairs, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since Oct 2024. Dr. Alshaya is a neurosurgeon interested in pediatric and adult complex Spine and Deformities. Dr. Alshaya is dedicated to training and mentoring the next generation of neurosurgeons in our institute. Ensuring that they are well-prepared for the clinical, surgical and life challenges in the field.
